The essay “Urban Vertigo” is an experimental bibliographic/argumentative essay submitted as an assignment in ENGL2171, with a look into the urban lives with views such as those from architecture, literature, movie, and comics. By looking into the issue of urban upper/lower class turmoil and public/private distinctions in public housings in Hong Kong and the UK via a postmodern way, I wish to bring light to the lives that resides within those buildings, not only the masterplans and the architects.
