A culture of your skin bacteria

Ma Chun Yau

Students were instructed to collect bacteria from their skin, and then cultured them on a nutrient medium. Upon the growth of the bacteria, students would attempt to identify the bacteria based on DNA sequence. This was to give students an idea on modern technology of identification of microbes. Teacher will also answer students’ inquiries on the bacterial culture.
