Research Internship: Student Aspirations and Future Readiness

From June 10-30, undergraduate students participated in a 3-week research internship through the Undergraduate Transdisciplinary Research Initiative mentored by Dr Jack Tsao. Interns explored student aspirations, career pathways, and readiness by recruiting peers for interviews and conducting preliminary analysis of transcribed data. This provided valuable experience in qualitative methods and analysis. Interns worked virtually and organized their own schedules while committing at least 30 hours. This internship developed research skills and explored an important topic related to student futures.

Please contact the project supervisor Dr Jack Tsao (jtsao@hku.hk) if you have further enquiries.
