As part of our Future Readiness Initiative in collaboration with Common Core Learning Partner AFTEC, we are offering a unique opportunity for students to participate in theatre games and experiential activities in professional theatre settings.

Calling budding theatre-makers for a role on stage or backstage! This one day workshop is a rare fast track opportunity for hands-on practical experience. Participants can collaborate on their final showcase at the end of the workshop. Participants will be divided into two groups for the Acting or the Stage Production Workshop. Actors will learn the basics of performing, analysing a script and rehearsing a part from selected extracts, while backstage participants will design the look and feel of the play by choosing their speciality from one of the three fields below:

1. Stage Management and Sound Design
2. Lighting Design
3. Set & Props Design

Participants from both groups will work together to put on the play on stage by the end of the full-day workshop.
