Orientation Workshop for Common Core Tutors, Semester 1, 2025-26

All of us in the Common Core would like to warmly welcome new and experienced tutors to the second semester of teaching. Tutors are at the heart of creating a dynamic and impactful learning experience for students at the Common Core.
We hope you can attend our orientation workshop, Post-digital Learning: Teaching, Tech, and Tomorrows, on September 2, 2025, 10 am – 12 noon in the Common Core BASc Lounge, Room 150, 1/F of HKU Main Building.

The session will include:

• Welcome by Professor Julian Tanner, Director of Common Core
• Networking with peers
• Getting Started
• Sharing by tutors and teachers
• Digital technologies for teaching
• Tutor resources, support, and professional development
• Funding options for student projects
