On the day of the Common Core Welcome and Informations on August 27th, I was specifically drawn to the Common Core Student Consultant role to the point that I stayed behind to ask more questions about the role before it opened.

I am actually an incoming student at HKU who loves connecting different fields, whether that is looking at global markets, environmental sustainability, or how people collaborate to solve big problems. Over the past few years, I’ve really enjoyed bringing people together, whether through starting clubs at school, organizing charity events, or representing youth initiatives on international projects.

Having led dynamic student groups before, I know how much work goes into building active, welcoming communities. I’d love the opportunity to organize fun, meaningful events, share honest feedback from the student body to help improve Common Core, and work alongside staff to make the Common Core experience as engaging and valuable as possible for everyone at HKU.
