Salam everyone! I’m Yusuf, a current Mechanical Engineering student from Baku, Azerbaijan. I love aviation, aerospace, tennis, Azerbaijani food, CSR, public speaking and am a social extrovert; Since my childhood, I’m working closely with the youth and leading large and small-scale initiatives in Azerbaijan and beyond. If there’s one key factor I realized that differentiates each of us and may make us seem alike at the same time is, our perspective.
Common Core at HKU is an essential part of curriculum that helps students formulate their true identity and understanding of their environment, future goals and of the world. Even though there are dozens of common core classes to choose from, students usually either randomly select or are questioning themselves having no clear understanding of the course concept. Here we step in: Common Core Student Consultants. At this point, perspectives are our leading power, as we all have unique and important perspectives, which we recognize and respect. As your mentors and consultants we step in to direct your perspective to the right and best direction for you to succeed and be happy. Personally, I get motivated every time I step in to my common core classes and I can’t wait to hop on the 2-hour CC journey. I enjoy it so much that I’d take it twice or even three times a week. I look forward to meeting and consulting you to direct your perspectives in the best possible direction for your future studies at HKU!
