Common Core Global Climate Change Photography Competition

In support of Global Climate Change Week on 18 – 24th October 2021 and our commitment to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the Common Core is inviting HKU undergraduate students to participate in the “Climate Action and Leadership in Hong Kong” Photography Contest:

  • Any undergraduate HKU student is eligible to enter the contest.
  • The photo must be submitted as a high-resolution JPEG, accompanied by a caption and a short description of how the photo(s) relate to Climate Change and Leadership in Hong Kong. (No more than 50-words in total)

Accepted entries will be exhibited between 18 – 24th October 2021, online on the Common Core website, and shared with a global community of universities.

Prizes – cash coupons worth more than HKD$2000 in total – will be awarded to the winner and two runner-ups!

Conditions of entry:

Any entries deemed offensive (e.g. violence, sex, profanity or direct attacks on individuals or organizations) will be disqualified. Participants must certify and warrant that the submitted photo(s) are original creations and does not violate the rights of a third party or any copyright. By submitting their photos, participants agree to granting HKU Common Core free of charge the right to use the photos.
