A big congratulations to team SAGA on winning the Most Collaborative Award of U21 RISE!

Led by HKU students Yingqi Wang, Ran Ju, Xiaoran Luo, and Jiayi Hu, the team is dedicated to developing educational support for children with leukemia, ensuring they can continue learning during treatment and uphold their right to a quality education. As part of their achievement, they will receive a prize of $2,000 USD to further develop their project.

By partnering with U21, we look forward to building a community that supports the development of young volunteers worldwide. This year’s U21 RISE Showcase featured 25 finalist projects led by 87 international student participants. RISE (Real Impact on Society and Environment) projects explore many important contemporary challenges, including; sustainability, food waste, health, education and accessibility. What stood out from all projects and participants this year was the enthusiasm, courage and determination to be a force for positive change in the world.
