Abstract of Talk:

This seminar will provide a brief introduction to Animoca Brands, the metaverse, and the concept of Play-to-Earn, Game-Fi, and Non-Fungible Tokens (NFT). It will also showcase well-known blockchain games like Sandbox, REVV Racing, and Axie Infinity. The session will conclude with a Q&A. For students, the seminar is an opportunity to propose and initiate a project through the Common Core (in collaboration with Animoca) to explore gaming, blockchain, and the metaverse. The outcome of your project will be judged by Animoca and potentially lead to a paid internship or graduate career opportunity.

About the speaker:

Zaf Chow is an HKU graduate and the Director of Digital Strategy and Partnerships of Animoca Brands. She currently spearheads the Play-to-Earn field and working on multiple projects around NFTs, Metaverses, and Web3.0.
