Hello! I am Abby (short for Abhinav). I’m a sophomore in the Faculty of Engineering and a computer science major. I was born in New Delhi, India, and moved to Sunnyvale, California, when I was 4 years old, before moving back to India in my senior year of high school and then moving to Hong Kong a year later for university. I really like to experience new cultures and that was one of the main reasons why I chose Hong Kong as a study destination. I believe that in the current state of the world, with the onset of the I.T. revolution and globalization, it is really important for people to develop a global perspective about the major aspects of their lives, and, thus, being a part of a multi-cultural community helps you develop as an individual. Some of my hobbies include reading science fiction and watching and playing e-sports. I am sure that being a part of the Common Core Ambassadorial Team will be a really enriching experience for me and am looking forward to working with you guys!
