Hello! I’m Chen Kun, a Year 1 student with a zest for campus life. I’m actively involved in various activities, and being a campus ambassador has been a highlight. It allows me to interact with different students, promote school events, and build a more connected community.

I have a profound passion for Common Core (CC) courses. What appeals to me most is the freedom to choose courses based on my interests. During my first semester, I selected two fascinating CC courses: one on bionics and the other on film production. These courses were not only intellectually stimulating but also provided hands – on learning experiences.

In addition to classroom learning, I participated in related field trips. They broadened my horizons and deepened my understanding of the theoretical knowledge. For example, on the field trip for the bionics course, I got to see real – life applications of nature – inspired designs in action.

CC courses have significantly transformed my personality. I was once an introverted person, but in these two CC courses last semester, I took on the role of leader. This experience not only enhanced my interpersonal communication skills but also made me constantly reflect on areas where I could improve.

However, I’m aware that some of my classmates struggle with CC courses. I sincerely hope to offer my help, sharing my learning methods and experiences, in the hope that they can also benefit from these courses and unlock their potential.
