Student Learning Festival 2025
On 30 April 2025, we had the privilege of hosting the Student Learning Festival with HKU Horizons, CEDARS, CIC, and BASc Office where we connected with many HKU students and teachers.
The Festival was a showcase of remarkable Common Core Course student works from this academic year and individual student research projects, all displaying the dedication and excellence that our students possess. It was truly a testament to the innovative and interdisciplinary approach that many of you, our esteemed teachers, instill in our students.
A prize presentation and award-winning video screening ceremony of the Horizons Experience Awards was also held at the Festival. Professor Derek Collins, Dean of Faculty of Art, congratulated the students on their outstanding performance and commended the students for their efforts in capturing the fond memories of their overseas learning experiences to share with the HKU community.

- Runner-up Prize: Make Swe 1: Building Bridges of Education – The University of Hong Kong & Myanmar Migrant School Renovation Project
- Runner-up Prize: KAN Anson Chi On: World Vision Senegal (Laidlaw Scholarship)
- Runner-up Prize: LEE Tzu Hsin Kayla: 3 Campus East Asia
