These two workshops will focus on the practical application of improvisation and design thinking in teaching to enhance students’ critical thinking and imaginative capacities. The workshop will discuss practical strategies to guide students across deeper and more expansive levels of inquiry, adopt a mindset for experimentation, connect across disciplinary domains of knowledge, and encourage equitable participation in the classroom. We also delve into the possibilities presented by educational technologies and Generative AI in this endeavour.
