Emmanuella is an industrial engineering student. She enjoys collaborating with students and providing her insight were useful with her experiences ranging from working as an official HKU Student Ambassador, Equal Opportunity Ambassador and once a student mentor with the Academy of the Talented. Over the years at HKU, she has thoroughly enjoyed all her Common Core classes as they were opportunities to explore topics of interest outside of her major. Moreover, the group-based projects in a number of these courses allowed her to expand her network and to make close connections which she can still count on today. The discourses that were afforded through the Common Core helped to challenge her way of thinking and educated her on relevant local and global topics.
