Sheryl Ruiyang XieBSc&MRes, Year 3

Raised in a family of journalists, I viewed many celebrities and influentials and was aware of the power of multidisciplinary knowledge and interdisciplinary collaboration at a very young life stage. Thus, I have always kept in mind to pay attention to my community, society and global issues. I have also kept a habit of reading widely and making friends with people in various fields. Studying physics as my first major, common core offered me a brilliant opportunity to explore my other interested subjects such as music, psychology and media. It inspired me a lot and enabled me to be open-minded. Thus, I want to become a common core student consultant to continue spreading this exciting opportunity and hopefully become an inspiration!
