I was a student studying Applied Child Development under the Faculty of Education. During my spare time, I enjoy discovering Hong Kong with my friends, enjoy the sunshine and read about anything that interests me.
The Common Core curriculum provides an extensive variety of courses covering historical and modern issues we ought to develop more knowledge on. As an educator, it is important to know when my students are crying for help silently. Therefore, this semester I decided to take a Common Core from the Global Issues area: “Suicide: Risks, Research, and Realities”. I really enjoy this course and I wish to help other students that want to take a Common Core course based on their interests, as well as to see it as an opportunity to connect their studies with current issues and fields.
