Lesley is an interdisciplinary problem solver with creative and professional practices covering media relations, service design and delivery, and content development.
Lesley currently drives the growth strategy of JC Legal, spearheading the firm’s strategic partnerships and initiatives as well as building cross-border practices. She was the visual narrator of Access Our Community, a legal tech solution bringing access to justice whose prototype won both the Best Public Benefit Legal Tech Award and the Champion in the Hong Kong round of the Global Legal Hackathon 2019 and entered the global finals. Prior to joining the legal industry, she worked at the Hong Kong Trade Development Council and coordinated media publicity for international trade exhibitions.
Lesley graduated from the University of Hong Kong with a BA in English Studies and Comparative Literature. She spent 8 months of her penultimate year in Europe, reading the humanities and urban policy in Utrecht, the Netherlands. Upon her return to Hong Kong, she joined the Common Core as a Student Ambassador. In her spare time, she writes about social innovation and urban culture on A City Made By People magazine, and translates texts for major art exhibitions, organisations and events. She has also been assisting in user research and design for public services in Hong Kong including public libraries and road assessment for pedestrian safety.
