I grew up in Seoul, South Korea. I came to Hong Kong in the fall of 2018 to pursue a BA degree in Comparative Literature and Media and Cultural Studies. I have always loved learning new things and expanding my outlook on the world and the Common Core courses at HKU have enabled me to explore my various interests such as cinema and Chinese culture from a fresh, academic perspective. During my studies at HKU, I have interned at the 72nd Cannes Film Festival, worked as an assistant producer in a media company and am currently working as a student journalist.
